HOUSE-FULL. It’s an artistic master-piece with a voice against the religious terrorism showered on innocent public. The core plot is knitted around one-day incident happening in a cinema theatre located. A few sub-plots running in the movie add the spice to the main thread. The whole story runs as a flashback when a lady journalist investigates a bomb blast.
An old man is the care-taker of a cinema theatre which receives an anonymous bomb threat. The police officials and bomb squad start searching the bomb. They do it without the knowledge of the watching audience as it may lead to a big chaos if they know about it. The old man is very keen that “no one should die” and insists the same redundantly to police officials.
The squad finds a couple of bombs and a part of audience is moved out in batches. A young girl, in the urge to save her boy-friend goes inside and screams about the bomb. It leads to stampede and with few bombs inside, the theatre is evacuated. At that time, a child’s cry is heard from the theatre which made the old-man to run inside. It’s a child crying in the theatre’s silver screen.
The bomb blasts and the old man dies. The irony is the same world gives space to a terrorist who kills innocents in the name of religion and an old man who sacrifices his life to save people irrespective of religion. The screenplay and the re-recording form the back-bone of the movie. That’s an entertaining movie with an important message.
